Bill Gates

Bill was born in Seattle in 1955. He started to get into computers at the age of 13, and that lead to him and his partner Paul Allen making the biggest software company of its time. Now Bill is the richest man in the world with his wealth sitting right over a couple trillion dollars. Bill stepped down from CEO in 2014 and made his own place higher than CEO just for himself.

William Henry Gates the third or Bill went to lakeside school in Seattle. He didn't start to go after his dream until college when he started to take those classes. He was right on time with really bad tech at the time so when bill came he had it real easy at the start, and his business tactics plowed through the competition.

Bill was in a middle class family to the richest man in the world. He grew up with two sisters Kristianne who was older and libby who was younger, and his parents William and Mary Gates. Their house was very close and all of the kids were very competitive and wanted the best. Most of the time they would try to win the family games and board games, risk was Bill's favorite but he was the best at Monopoly.

Bill was very close to his mom who was a teacher at the time and then just stayed at home with the kids. His dad was a law student at this time. Bill and his mom would volunteer for pretty much anything that was going on and they both loved it. Bill was a very big reader as a kids spending many hours on books like encyclopedia. At 11 or 12 Bill parents started to worry about him he was doing well in school but he was bored all the time and he had only a couple of friends and he didn't want to do anything and his parents thought he was going to become a loner.

At 13 Bill enrolled into excel programs and blossomed in all of his classes. While at school a computer company provided computer time for the kids. The mothers club started sales to make a terminal for the school, and Bill spent all of his free time working on the terminal. Bill made a program that made the computer play tic tac toe with the kids. At lakeside Bill met Paul Allen and they became fast friend because of their love of computers, even know they were so different. But they were always in the computer room together. They would fight all the time and one time it got them kick out of the computer lab.When they got back into the lab the boys hacked the school scheduling program and made the bells ring at random times.

At 15 Bill and his friend went into business. They made Traf O Data a computer program that monitored all of the street lights, and made 20000 dollars off of what they did. Then wanted their own company but his parents wanted him to stay in school and then go to college to become a lawyer. Bill graduated in 1973. He scored 1550 out of 1600 on the college SAT test  and for several years he boasted about his test.

Bill enrolled at harvard in the fall. But  he spend more time in the lab then in class and would rarely get more than a couple hours of sleep and he would always cram for a test and he would just be on the border of pass and fail the whole time he was  at school which was only two years because he dropped out and moved to boston to work for honeywell.Around this time Allen showed Gates an edition of Popular Electronics magazine an article on the Altair 8800 mini-computer kit. Bo th of the boy were just imagineing  all of the stuff they could do with this new technology. When Bill saw this he wanted get his hands on one of these so he went to new Mexico to made all new program for the computer. But the computer had very bad system to run on so Bill got to work he ask the CEO and he ask him to show his idea. Now Bill was right on the he was on it for two months before Bill had made his first operating system.ill formed a partnership and made his own company called microsoft.

They started very rough making only basic software for their computers. When the software was done they started to dell the computers with bills software but the people started to remake the computer with bills software then gave them away for free this was tribble for bill because only 10%  had really paid for Bills software.In February 1976, Gates wrote an open letter to computer hobbyists, saying that continued distribution and use of software without paying for it would

"prevent good software from being written."

Bill saw the sharing from friend to friend as stealing and that it would make developer stop putting time and money to the software. The letter was very unpopular but Bill stuck to it. Bill and his MITS fought  all the time most of the time full on yelling his MITS wanted to develop for the computer again but bill was nowhere near giving up his spot in development.

As Bill company got bigger and bigger he became the spokesman for the company.In November 1980, IBM was looking for software that would operate their upcoming personal computer (PC) and approached Microsoft. Legend has it that at the first meeting with Bill Gates someone at IBM mistook him for an office assistant and asked him to serve coffee.  Than Bill had made his own company followed his dream and succeeded and is still going to day.

The Forest

The Forest

I was going on a business trip. I had worked for a car company in Canada, and I had to fly there. I had lived in Europe  so it was going to take about four hours so not very long. I checked in jumped on my plane flew out of the port. It was a huge plane so it had the little screens on the back of the seats. I started the flight by watching a movie called the necklace, it was kinda good but it wasn't the best. I had my son next to me and he had gone to sleep after he was done with all of the little drawings all over his tray table my food had just come when I looked out the window and I saw an island, and than I heard a scream.

The nose of the plane had started to go down. The plane had hit a  really tall tree and the nose of the plane snapped off and flew the other direction. The plane hit the ground and I hit my head in the back of the seat and I blacked out. I woke up it was dark, I was in the middle of the plane and there was a man standing in front of me. He was gray and had black lines going all over his body and he was holding my son. I started to get up than I felt something hit me over the head.

I woke up it was right at dawn and the sun was shining in my face, I got on my feet and looked around. I was still in middle of the plane. I went to the back of the plane, and there was food all over the place but a lot of it had been tossed on to the floor and splattered about. I picked up a bag that I had found under the seat behind me, and put some of the food in it and ate the rest. I turned and started to walk to the front of the plane there was a body, it was one of the worked that had served food on the plane. There was a plane axe that I had seen on the wall when I got on, but in it was in her head. I heard a loud scream and then saw an ash covered man running at me on all fours, I reached down grab the axe out of the woman's head and as it jumped at me I swung and hit it across the head It hit one of the plane chairs beside me and with a  loud yep and then bled out on the chair. I jumped out of the plane and ran to beach just in case any other things came to check the crash out. As soon as I got there I saw a yacht rammed up on a rock. I heard another screech, and out of fear jumped in the water and started to swim to the yacht.

I pulled myself up onto the boat and went down to the little room in the boat. There was a lot of food lying around but most of it was rotten, the only things that weren't were some cola and a couple energy bars that were kinda stale. There was also a little cassette player on table and whenever I played it would seem to give me energy. It was started to get dark and there was a little bed in the back of the ship. There was a body next to the bed but it didn't smell and I was to tired to care, the next day i was going to head out.

I got up and it was only seven o'clock and I was wide awake I grabbed my bag  walked out and grabbed some rope cause I thought I was going to need it.  

I got to the land and started to walk along the beach, and saw some huge cargo containers there were a lot of broken circuits and wires. I picked a few up and continued down the beach, and there were these grass and wood hut that looked like huge tents. I got closer and saw one of the things sit next to a body that was hanging over the front of the hut thing. As I got closer I saw that the thing was eating a body that had fallen down from the hut. I went around the hut. Walking slow right up behind the thing , and smacked it and the head with my axe, It didn't make a sound it just fell on its side and died. when it fell it dropped its club. It was a head on a bone with two heads around the head, it was gross but it was probably useful against the things. there was a cave sitting right next to the camp it had a rope going down into it, but it was getting dark and I needed find a place to sleep. there was a land bridge going across the river and I saw these little hut that were off the ground. I went there and made a little bed I used sticks and rabbit fur and then settled down for the night

I got up to a loud scream, I peeked my head out of the door and saw a thing getting attacked by a gator. I waited about 15 minutes until the gator had killed the thing. I went back into the hut and decided that the thing were cannibals so that's what I called them.  

Krampus

We were all sitting around the table, the whole family was here. Our grandma

said grace then we all started to eat. My cousins started arguing, because one of them

put mashed potatoes on their spoon and flung it across the table. It had hit the other

square in the nose. That had lead to them throwing more food and all the smaller kids

around the table joined in.  All of the adults got up and tried to stop their kids. Grandma

got up and yelled, “Enough!”  Everyone sat down.

All of the adults sat on the couch and the two recliners. All the kids sat around the

tree with all their presents in their laps. My youngest brother opened his presents. He

got two dinosaur toys, and he got a huge box of Legos. All the other kids ripped into

their presents. Everyone got want they wanted to get except the oldest kid there. She

was kind of strange. She was used to getting everything that she wanted, and she was

a little crazy. She got up and ran to the door, opened it and threw her presents out of

the open door. One landed in a snow drift right next to the drive, the others left thre

dents in my uncle's pickup truck. The whole family was up and watch her as she shoved

through the family and stomped upstairs into the spare bedroom where all of the coats

were. Her dad told everyone that she was going to be fine and to not worry about it. It

was getting to be nighttime, and everyone was getting ready to leave. We heard a loud

scream come from upstairs exactly where the oldest girl had gone. Everyone stopped in

their tracks.

All but one adult ran up stairs. All the kids sat around not really minding what was

happening. We had all gone through this before. She had been kidnapped herself

before, but it was always a good thing to check on her when she did this. We heard a

loud gasp come from upstairs. I ran up there and a couple of the little kids following me

up the  stairs.

On the bed there was a little jack in the box. As soon as I got up there to see the

handle on the side started to turn round and round. The top opened and a small

pedestal came out from the box.  There was a teddy bear on it. The lights started

flicker and in a second they went out. The whole family was scared out of their mind.

Everyone that had a phone pulled it out and turned on their flash lights. My dad had

gone down stairs to get a couple flashlights for the older kids that were there.

One of the little kids got away from the rest of the family. He had gone up stairs.

He was looking for something to play with when he saw the teddy bear on the bed. His

mom and dad ran up stairs. They saw their son  pick up the teddy bear. The bear

opened its mouth, showed its teeth and ate the little boy whole. The bear jumped on the

wall  next to the parents, crawled up on the ceiling and jumped out the opened window.

The rest of the family was on the stairs, and watched the bear jump out the window.

My grandma had called the police. The police got here and knocked on the door.

My grandma told them what was going on and what had happened. Both the policemen

started laughing and said that my grandma and our family was crazy. They both walked

back to their car. The whole family watched as a huge thing came crashing into their car

sending it into the side of our house. It had huge horns and bright glowing blue eyes.

Everyone ran to the basement. The parents picked up their kids and ran.

We heard banging from all directions. One of the many old clown dolls that my

grandma had in the basement opened its mouth and its bottom jaw broke apart.

Five more of the creepy clown dolls came alive. The first one bounced up and bit one of

my uncle's hands. The huge horned creature walked in the room. It was carrying a sack

in his hand. It threw it at my uncle’s feet. The bag moved, and the oldest girl crawled out

of the bag. All of the clowns stopped moving and their eyes stopped glowing. The

policemen appeared back and the little boy walked into the room. The teddy bear came

Space

Today is the day that we go into space we had been training for two years and we were very experienced as we stepped on to the spaceship they started the countdown 60 59 58 57...

we all were in our seats and ready to go, 1 2 3… we blasted off into the air we were laying on our backs as we went up we saw that we were out of the atmosphere. The sun got brighter and we could see the of the stars in the distance. Our mission was to go to another green planet to see it was able to harbor human life and to do some test for resources.

We had a garden in the back of the ship for food because the trip the planet was going to take 6 years to get there and we had engine the run on byproducts of the pigs that we feed with our plantes. I had been four years since I had recorded a video log, we are ran very low on food our last crop had been ruined by the pigs they got out of the pen and eat all of the food while we all were sleeping. When we woke up we saw what the pig had done we killed it and eat its meat and then put the rest in deep freeze, and used all of the uneatable part in the fuel tanks.

We can now see the planet it looked just like earth water plant life clouds it had been so long since i've seen anything like it. We started to go through the atmosphere we were going into the ocean. We hit the water we were all in camber so we did not hit the front of the ship

the ship floated to the top of the water our ship had a little fuel left and there was an island near by when we got there it was just like earth green plants sand and rock but it was time to test some things first we tested if the air was ok the breath oxygen had a lot higher levels than earth we all took off our helmets the air was fine. Next we tested gravity it was a little higher than earth. As we put away the testing equipment there was a small rodent looking creature eating some grass it was blue with purple stripes going across its back. As we got closer the creature didn't seem to care if fact it started to walk to us. As it got closer we could see the large teeth hanging out of its mouth and we saw it was eating a corpse not grass.

It jumped up on me I threw it off then kicked it. 117 pulled out his pistol and shot in the head and it flew back and hit a rock. We picked up the body and brought it back to the ship I put it in the testing chamber and went back outside but this time with bigger guns. we went a while without seeing anything we were on top of a large hill and we saw a huge tree fall than we saw a huge monster standing on his back legs it had scales and bright red eyes it was the size of a small house. It was chasing something and that something we coming this way  it was just like the creature from earlier but huge we must have found a baby it ran right through us and then the big thing  it stopped in front us almost like it was thinking. It took a huge snap me than roared its teeth were like huge steak knifes I pulled out my pistol and shot it straight in the nose it roared again we all ran there was a cave right next to us. The thing was big but it was very slow. We got to the cave we hit the back wall it shoved it head into the cave he hit his head to hard and the top of the cave fell in on its head and it was killed but now we were stuck in here 117 took out a frag grenade pulled the pin and stuck it in a rock then ran back to the wall of the cave. Rock flew all over the place and there was a little bit of an opening there but it wasn't big we all crawled through the hole we saw the massive body of the creature lying there i pulled out my knife and cut a chunk of fresh out of the side of the creature than 120 cut deeper to see what the creature eat before chasing us into the cave there was one rodent thing and lots of bones. It was getting to be night time but we had to test the water to see if it was safe to drink I went inside to grab a jar so I could bring it back to the ship. The water tested safe to drink and it didn't even have to be filtered we hooked up a hose to the ship and put the other end in the water  now we had running water in the ship. We were running low on power  lucky us there was a big oil spill right off the shore another hose came out off the side of the ship. Our suits made us sink to the bottom I took the hose and drilled it into the rock that the oil was coming out of. The ship had more power than it ever had, whatever we put in the ship it was a lot stronger than the oil that we had on earth. It help a lot that our ship could run on a lot of things.

It was getting to be night time we all went into it was pitch black because there was no moon on this planet I went to get a pair of night vision goggles. I Put them on looked outside and saw five black creature sitting right outside of the door they didn't have any eyes that I could see they walked on all fours and they had a huge blade on the end of their long tail. The biggest one came up to the door and opened its mouth for a smaller mouth to come out and shoot a little beam aicd the aicd started to melt through the door I ran to get one of the guns I shot and it bounced right off of the creature and hit a rock behind it 117  ran and got a flamethrower and incinerated all five of them  in one shot. We fixed the hole with the leftover shell of the night creatures the night was only four hours so it was all ready day.

earth had sent us a radio message that had asked if the planet was able to harbor human life. We sent the message that

“That the air is breathable and the water is drinkable and there is food but all the life hear wants to kill you.”

We planted food and waited for years and years for the rest of our race to come and save us the creature seemed to hate the armor on the door of the ship so nothing attacked  the ship. to be continued.

Zombies

Twas the night before it all started I was sitting my room watching tv and than I heard a

loud scream from the town alarm. than my dad came in my room and told to turn the tv to

channel seven when i saw it my jaw dropped there had been a massive nuclear explosion had

happened in florida and was powerful enough to destroy the us. i got up and run down stairs into

the basement with my family and my dad brought down a little tv so we could watch the news the news reporter said everyone to say in a safe place but even then it was a low chance of  living after the blast. I heard a loud rumble and the walls started to shake and crack and rumble fell through the ceiling as it started to collapse. When it collapsed I was trap under part of the ceiling.

I pushed it off and saw the thick layer of ash covering everything in sight. Most of my house was gone and there was no sign of my family. Started look for any food or water. I found a couple of my dad's mre’s but no water I also found one of my old backpack with one ripped strap I put all of the food in there. I walked around for a while but there was nothing. I had not seen any people. I saw something in a garage at least what was left of it, it was a car.

There was someone beside it as I got  closer I saw that there was something wrong with him. he seemed to be trying to get something but I didn't know what than i saw a metal bar come and hit the man right in the nose he fell back and I saw two small kids come out and hit the man again I went got closer they finally saw me

 They got closer than they saw I wasn’t all messed up like the guy had hit I could tell they were twins because they almost looked the same the one with the little bit darker hair said his name was Johnny and the other was Jimmy I told them my name. They brought me into what was left of the house they had a little fort set up there was a fire that had almost died  out and a little pile of food. They told me that the thing that they hit was some kind of diseased human. They said that he was their neighbor  and that he was an older person, but I saw fast person not an old guy.

It was starting to become night and the fire was out. but there was a car pressed up against the wall of the garage but jim said they couldn't start it but they had jumper cables  I thought I could get it started but there was no way. I doug through some of the drawers and I found a flashlight. I started looking through their garage I saw an old lawn mower battery tucked in the corner. I asked John if he knew where his lawn mower would be he said “It's in the back.”

I went into the back yard and saw a shed with a  missing wall and a lawn mower pushed on its side. It took all of to push it right up and push it to the car. I put the jumper cables on the mower and the car. The mower started so I got off of the mower and opened the door to the car surprisingly the keys were still in the car. I started it and I heard a small rumble but the car didn't start. I got out and looked in the gas tank but there was no gas.

I started the search gas john and Jim went one way and I went the other. I went to house behind where we just were. It was about half an hour until I heard a loud scream. I run over there and saw three of those weird humans had Jim on the ground I pushed one off and John hit it with a big stick. Jim was running away john hit another one and then ran but there was a gas can behind them and we needed it the people were slow so I just ran past grabbed the gas and ran. I got back and they were both sitting down I showed them the gas. I went over to the car and put the gas in then opened the door and turned the key a small rumble and then it started.

I told jim and john to get in the car. there was a gas station down the street. I Didn't know how to drive because I was to young but I saw my parents drive so  I Kind of knew. we made it to the station. There was a lot of those people there  John was looking through the back seat and he found a flare and a flare gun. We had stopped about half a  block away. I shot it at the side of the building and all of the all of the people ran over to it. We sanuk into the building and there was food everywhere but there was a credit sitting on the counter so now we can get more gas. As we walked out one the people saw and then the whole group was alerted. We ran to the car we all got in and drove off. We drove for a while we were on a road in the middle of nowhere but I saw something off in the distance. It was a gas station. We got there and there was only one person there and john hit it with a rock that he picked up off the edge of the road it hit it right in the head. As I filled up the car they went in the gas station and they all kinds of stuff  food knifes and there was even a gun under the front desk and there was a bunch of ammo in the back of the store. we packed the car with food and water and than we left.

The next place the we stopped was a small town with a gun store in it as we went in the gun store I shot two and john hit the person behind the desk and he fell over as we were looking through the gun the person behind the desk had crawled over to jim and bite his shoe he kick it off until john and I came over the shot it. Jim got up and he was bleeding out of his shoe. we put a wire fence in between the front seat the back so that jim wouldn't hurt us or be near the food  by this time we had reached the border between the U.S.A. and Canada right when we crossed there was a little farm that we stayed at until I write the next page.
