Kobe Bryant

August 23,1978 Kobe Bean Bryant was born. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents are Joe Bryant and Pam Bryant. His siblings are Sharia Bryant and Shaya Bryant. Kobe Bryant’s daughters and wife’s names are.. Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant and Natalie Diamante Bryant, his wife's name is Vanessa Laine Bryant. Kobe Bryant grew up he didn’t grow up playing basketball he picked up a basketball in 7th grade! It only took him 5 years to make it to the NBA (National Basketball Association). Kobe Bryant did not go to college. The NBA asked him if he wanted to play basketball in the professional league. He said yes, and is now playing in his 20th season for the Los Angeles Lakers. He got drafted in 1996 by the Charlotte Hornets and got traded for by the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe Bryant went to High-School at Lower Merion school in Pennsylvania.  Nobody liked Kobe because growing up he wasn't wealthy. His family now lives in Los Angeles with Kobe Bryant because ever since he started making millions of dollars he bought his siblings, parents, and of course his own house.  Kobe Bryant’s salary is $25 million a year.

Legacy

Kobe Bryant in this past season passed Michael Jordan on the all time scoring list. He broke that record against the Minnesota Timberwolves while driving to the basket and getting fouled while going up for a shot and all he had to do was make two free throws. Kobe Bryant made them both and became third in the all time scoring list behind Kareem-Abdul Jabbar and Karl Malone. Kareem-Abdul Jabbar's 38,387 points in his career, Karl Malone has 36,928, and Kobe Bryant has 32,482 points in his career. This season is Kobe Bryant’s last season and already a possible Hall-of-Famer. He is 37 years old so it’ll be hard for him to get the record because the past three years he has been out for the season in all of them and he never really had the chance to get to the top of the all time scoring list. He will need to get 4,000 dollars into this season for him to break the record but that is almost impossible. He will need to average about 40 points a game for him to be able to beat the record.

Kobe Bryant’s career has been based on either being better than Michael Jordan or being worse than Michael Jordan because now a days that’s all everyone talks about and asks if he ever thinks he be better than Michael Jordan so of course he answers “yes” because everyone wants to climb to the top and be the best but that takes a lot of hard work and dedication to the game of basketball. Kobe Bryant just got cleared to play in the 2015 basketball season after tearing his rotator cuff in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Kobe Bryant played through a torn rotator cuff but shot with his left hand. Kobe Bryant’s jersey number is twenty-four but before he started wearing number twenty-four he wore the number eight.

Kobe Bryant’s lifestyle is to when he done playing basketball, he goes and plays more basketball. Kobe Bryant has his own shoe company and people have made over millions of shoes and Kobe Bryant gets paid every time someone buys a pair or when he wears his own shoe, his sponsor is Nike. Kobe Bryant in the off season he usually goes and works out then comes home to see his kids and wife. Kobe Bryant lives in a house in Los Angeles that is worth over a million dollars. One of my favorite quotes from Kobe Bryant is “Everything negative-pressure, challenges- is all an opportunity for me to rise.”
